Panegyric to Vesper

" ... burn and make me new"

John Donne

Oh heavenly Vesper! In its vertical gait, phallic and vulvar: androgynous, innovated version of the Egyptian "ankh", symbol of eternal resurrection, symbol of male and female energy; of material and incorporeal; of real and virtual. Androgynous Vesper, half male, half female, half sperm, half ovum; female mudra reversed on the head, cosmic portal of the multiverse, portal of life, portal of light, membrane that procreates new worlds; O splendorous Vesper! With the intelligence fire on the forehead, technological and libertarian fire, Promethean Vesper in the historical inexorable trajectory from fire to digital mouse; goddess of technology, metamorphic goddess, on the tip of the world, on the fingertips, platform for its cosmic plunge as evening star and morning star: PHOSPHOROS = HESPEROS, solar (golden) Vesper and lunar (silver) Vesper, but also Vesper as Hesperides: multiple of three, of seven, of many, as nymphs that guard immortality and the Faustian pomes in the extreme of the world. O crepuscular Vesper! Enemy of the Gorgons, friend of the Amazons, bellicose Vesper, warrior, bosomless archer, radiant arrow thrower; O luminous Vesper! With arms raised, hands up in the air, all nude, pure, in the shape of a tetra-penta-hexagonal star, den of the love goddess. Stellar titanic Vesper with feet hugging the world atlas, on the sky atlas, no longer the weight, no longer the verb, but the eternal sense of light.
